There are health benefits to meditating every day, even if it's just for 5-10 minutes.  The idea is to quiet your mind and come to a state of consciousness deeper than your normal waking state.  In meditation, your mind should be clear, alert, and focused inward, not on external things around you, and not on the thoughts that will come.  Through meditation you will learn to explore your sub-conscious, deepen your self-awareness, become less reactive, and achieve a sense of peace.

The Meditation Room at SOULSPACE is open for meditation.  Patients are encouraged to come in anytime and use the room.
